Members of the Raleigh Historic Districts Commission are appointed by City Council. RHDC makes recommendation of candidates for new appointments to the commission through its Nominations Committee.
The majority of the members shall have demonstrated special interest, experience or education in history, architecture, historic preservation, archaeology, or related fields.
